Partner Terms
Last updated: October 25, 2026
In short: approved partners earn 10% of what the customers they refer pay, after tax and refunds, for as long as those customers pay. Payments go out monthly once $50 or more is ready, after a 60-day hold. Promote honestly, never spam, and never copy or reverse engineer RouteWren.
These Partner Terms are an agreement between you and O.K Process Servers Limited ("RouteWren", "we", "us") about the RouteWren partner program (the "Program"). They add to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply to you. If these Partner Terms and the Terms of Service conflict about the Program, these Partner Terms govern.
1. Joining
You apply from your RouteWren account. We may approve or decline any application, and you become a partner only when we approve it. You must be an adult who can enter a binding contract. If you apply for a business, you confirm that you can bind it.
2. Referrals
- What counts. A customer is your referral if they create a new RouteWren account using your link (within 90 days of clicking it) or by entering your code when they sign up. If more than one partner could claim a customer, the code or link used at sign-up wins.
- What doesn't count. Your own accounts, accounts of the same person or business under another name, accounts that already existed, and accounts made with false or reused details. Our free-trial safeguards apply.
- Teams. If your referral owns a team account, the team's bill counts.
3. Commission
- Rate. You earn 10% (or another rate we agree with you in writing) of each payment your referral makes for RouteWren, after taxes, refunds, chargebacks and credits. You earn it for as long as they keep paying and you remain a partner in good standing.
- Hold. Each commission is held for 60 days. If the payment is refunded or disputed, the commission is reduced or cancelled. If it was already paid, we deduct it from your future commissions.
- Instead of the referral reward. Partners earn commission instead of the free month of Pro that other users get for referrals.
- Changes. We may change the rate or these terms with 30 days' notice by email. Commission already earned is not affected.
4. Payment
- We pay monthly, in Canadian dollars, by Interac e-Transfer or PayPal to the address you give in the app, once your available commission is at least $50. Smaller amounts carry over.
- You are responsible for giving correct payment details. We are not responsible for payments sent to an address you gave.
- You are an independent contractor, not our employee, agent or partner in a legal sense. You are responsible for your own taxes, including income tax and any GST/HST you must charge, and we may ask for tax information before paying.
5. How You May Promote RouteWren
You must:
- clearly disclose that you earn a commission whenever you share your link or code (for example "affiliate link" or "#ad"), as advertising and consumer-protection laws require in Canada, the United States and elsewhere;
- describe RouteWren accurately, using only claims found on our website, and never promise results, prices or features we don't offer;
- follow anti-spam and privacy laws, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the US CAN-SPAM Act and TCPA.
You must not:
- send unsolicited emails, texts or messages, or post in places that don't allow promotion;
- bid on "RouteWren" or similar terms in search or social ads, or use our name in a domain, account name or ad in a way that suggests you are RouteWren;
- post your code on coupon, deal or cash-back sites, or offer people money or gifts to sign up;
- use our logo or trademarks except as we provide or approve, or say that we endorse you;
- use misleading, offensive or illegal content, or target children.
6. Protecting RouteWren: No Copying or Reverse Engineering
RouteWren, including its software, features, designs, screens, wording, workflows, scheduling, routing and messaging methods, and documentation, belongs to us and is protected by copyright and other laws. As a partner you may see more of how RouteWren works and is sold, including non-public information such as unreleased features, pricing plans and program details ("Confidential Information").
You agree that you will not, for commercial or personal use, and will not help or allow anyone else to:
- copy, replicate, imitate or recreate RouteWren or any of its features or functions, in whole or in part;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape or otherwise try to work out its source code, algorithms, logic, data structures or how its features work;
- use RouteWren, its output, its documentation, Confidential Information or anything you learn through the Program to design, build, train or improve a product, service, feature or model that copies or competes with RouteWren; or
- share Confidential Information with anyone, or use it except to take part in the Program.
These limits apply except where the law expressly gives you a right that cannot be waived. They continue after you leave the Program. If you breach them, we may end your participation and your access immediately, withhold unpaid commission connected with the breach, and seek any remedy the law allows, including a court order to stop the breach.
7. Pausing and Ending
You may leave the Program at any time by emailing us. We may pause or end your participation at any time. If we end it for a reason other than your breach of these terms, we pay the commission you have already earned once it clears the hold. If you breach these terms, or commit fraud, you lose commission connected with the breach and any unpaid commission we reasonably believe was earned improperly.
8. Liability
The Program is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under these Partner Terms is limited to the commission we paid or owe you in the 12 months before the claim. You agree to cover our reasonable losses from claims caused by your promotion or your breach of these terms.
9. General
These Partner Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction, as described in our Terms of Service. You may not transfer your partner account. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
