Made for Small, Varied Routes

Smart Order

Paste or import the day's drops. RouteWren puts them in a smart order from your depot and back, and gives each stop an arrival time.

Mileage That Logs Itself

Every route becomes a mileage entry. Add odometer readings if you like, set your rate per km, and export by day, week or month.

Reports You Can Hand Over

Print or download any route: every stop in order, times, time on site, drive times and distances. Useful for quality checks, disputes and reimbursement.

Text Only When It Helps

Phone numbers are optional. For a delivery someone must be home for, send their time or a running-late note from your own number.

Works on the Road

Runs on any phone and can be added to your home screen. Open the route in Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions.

Simple, Flat Pricing

Every feature on every plan. You pay by stops planned each month, from $12 for 40 to $119 for unlimited.

Why Not Just Use Google Maps for Multi-Stop Routes?

Google Maps is excellent for turn-by-turn directions, and RouteWren hands off to it. But it takes at most 10 destinations in a route and keeps them in the order you typed. RouteWren takes the whole day, up to 40 stops, puts them in a smart order from your depot and back, and gives each drop an arrival time. Then Directions opens the stops in that order in Google Maps.

What Mileage Records Does the CRA Expect?

The Canada Revenue Agency asks for a logbook of business driving: for each trip, the date, destination, purpose and kilometres, plus your odometer readings at the start and end of the year. Whether you claim vehicle expenses as self-employed or get a per-kilometre allowance from an employer, a clean log is what backs it up.

RouteWren's mileage log fills itself from your routes: each day's date, stops and distance, counting only the stops you mark visited. Add odometer readings or your own figure for any day, set your own rate per kilometre or turn on CRA rates (73¢ per km for the first 5,000 km in 2026 and 67¢ after), and export a day, week, month or year as a spreadsheet, or print it. It's a record-keeping tool, not tax advice; ask your accountant what you can claim. Prefer paper? Use our free mileage log template.

Driver Questions

Do I have to text anyone?

No. A phone number is optional on every stop. Use RouteWren as a route planner and mileage log, and only text when a customer needs to be home.

How many stops can a route have?

Up to 40 stops a day. RouteWren suits furniture, appliance, florist, pharmacy, medical-courier and parts routes. High-volume parcel routes of 100+ drops are better served by dedicated parcel software.

What reports can I print?

A route report for any day, with every stop, its time, time on site, drive times and distances, and a mileage log by day, week or month. Both download as a spreadsheet or print to PDF. Routes are kept for 14 days, so download anything you need to keep; your mileage log stays.

Does RouteWren track my trips automatically?

No. There is no GPS tracking or trip detection. Each day's distance comes from your planned route, counting only the stops you mark visited, and you can enter odometer readings or your own figure for any day.

What does RouteWren cost?

You pay by stops planned each month: $12 for 40, $29 for 100, $59 for 250, or $119 unlimited (CAD). Daily delivery routes usually need Unlimited. See pricing.
